SPRING 21' HAUL | TRY ON + BEAUTY + HOME

hey guys welcome back to my channel

what are you doing today i just wanted
to show some
recent items that i got in the clothing
department
home beauty accessories some
new purchases some recurring purchases
so we'll go ahead and get started
i'm actually going to get started with
misguided because they are sponsoring
this video
and they let me pick out some really
cute spring items from their new
arrivals
which i will have linked below but i'm
actually going to try on the clothes in
the mirror
and hold the camera because i feel like
the lighting's better that way and it's
easier to see and talk through so
go ahead and get started with that and
then i'll see you back here all right
first up is this little two-piece set
and it is like an not a full off the
shoulder but it kind of sits right on
the edge of the shoulder
and it is so comfortable and so
lightweight.

and hugs really nicely i've already worn
this once to
shoot um some photos and i just love it
and then i came home and worked in it
all day
so comfortable um and i also like that
it doesn't wrinkle
either whenever i'm sitting all day i
did not think that i would ever have
like an orange
full-on orange two-piece in the camera
it looks pretty orange but in person
it's almost like a um it has more coral
in it than orange so
it's not like jail jumpsuit orange it's
very much like a coral orange
all right next up is this dress and
sorry
this dress is actually a little wrinkled
um i just steamed it and then i had it
hanging in a pile so i got a little
wrinkly but actually has
a little like ruching right here there's
a tie so you can make it
a little bit shorter or if you want to
undo it then you can make it a little
longer but.

i love these sleeves and it comes with a
slip underneath because it's sheer but i
really love these types of dresses
because they're so great for all year
round you know you can wear them in the
spring and summer
with sandals or sneakers and in the fall
you can put tights and boots or just
like an over-the-knee boot
um but i just think there's such easy
throw on pieces and i think that the
sheerness
gives it like an extra little something
um to make it a little bit more
interesting so i really hope this is
available by the time the video goes
live because this is my
favorite set it is a two-piece
bandana top set and it's this
really pretty brown let me turn the
brightness down it's almost khaki in the
camera but it really is like a darker
beige color but i love bandana tops and
especially
with matching pants so um and the pants
have pleats
in the front and they're nice and like
wide legged and flowy
um i think it's perfect for going to
dinner.

even just a daytime thing with sandals
and maybe a head scarf or something
super loud right next is a little floral
milk made
dress with these tie sleeves
and then the detached off the shoulder
sleeve
i love this i think i maybe would have
gone
one more size up um just for
like the sleeves in this part but this
is
super cute and i love the color and the
print it's just very subtle
and i like all the detailing on it all
right next is
this outfit so the padded button down i
think is such a great
staple um you can wear it by itself you
can layer it put it with a blazer
i like to just button them up all the
way i think it just makes it look more
clean and polished
and then i love the oversized pockets on
the front
and then next are the flutter shorts and
i know these aren't for everybody but i
think they're so cute
i'm really just not a fan of denim
shorts
overall i just i would rather wear like
paper bag
um like linen or like a skirt or
something
so any time i can find like a fun unique
um denim short then i'm like all for it
but i've been seeing these flower shorts
everywhere so i was really excited to
get some then i got
this basic black bodysuit i have two
black tank tops that
have like the front razor which means
that you know it kind of goes in a
little bit right here
versus straight down and in both of them
i have to wear a strapless bra
but with this one i'm just wearing a
regular bra and you can't see my straps
like it's far enough over to where
you can't see your strap but you can
still wear just a regular bra without
having to deal with the strapless
this is the perfect black bodysuit tank
top bodysuit and
i also got it in white as well so here
it is in white
um you can see ribbed and this one's not
see-through which is perfect
i'd actually almost given up on the
front racer
trend of tank tops and i was like okay
this one looks
promising so i ordered this one and it's
perfect i can wear regular bra
all right i just realized the theme of
this video is
hi is two piece sets so
this is my last two piece set um but
this is just like a cropped
shirt and just like the most comfortable
elastic
waist shorts love this set
you can also wear it open and do like a
bralette under it
um you wear it with sandals sneakers all
right i've been trying to do
more color this season versus neutrals
uh black and gray
so i in my attempt got these
lavender shorts and i
love these they are so lightweight and i
love the pleats on them
i just think they have an overall good
fit okay
not doing away with neutrals completely
because i did get this dress
and i just love the detailing on this
dress i love this little ruffle
this is one of those dresses that's just
a throw on on the weekends when you're
running errands
or you just need a cute little dress for
something the color is easy the fit is
easy
literally any shoe will go with it any
bag any occasion so
yep all right so then i got this bright
red dress what i love about this is that
it almost looks like you're wearing a
skirt and a top so i think this is a
really cute detail
around the waist and then the back is
completely
backless and it's super strappy and it
goes down really low as well so
i love that and this is also really
lightweight and just another one of
those super easy dresses but i just love
the bright color so proud of myself
because it comes in black
and i got this one so
pulling a little orange on camera
but i would say this definitely is like
a true.

red let me turn the brightness down a
little
see if that kind of helps yeah so you
can kind of get a little bit of an idea
and then lastly i got this dress from
shona joy
i definitely think this is more of an
occasion
type dress versus just throw on and run
to the store just like a better
look at what the fabric is
it's got a lot of fun detailing to it
and i love the skirt part
actually fits a little better up here i
just couldn't reach the button
closure in the back but it ties tighter
if you need to cinch the waist in
but i just love the color and the style
of this it's perfect if you have
something to go to some sort of function
that you could wear this too but
you know what i probably would wear this
a little bit more casual
in the fall with like some cream boots
or
just if it was a little cooler outside
um but i don't know if i just like throw
this on with sandals for a casual like
summer
look you know that is it for
the clothing portion of the haul now i'm
gonna do the sit-down portion
of the rest of it all right so next up
we have let's do let's do home yeah
so i went on a little bit of like a tray
and bowl kick at target um i got these
three trays
you know you see these things and you're
like i don't know what i'm gonna put in
it i don't know where it's gonna go
but it's gonna look good i don't like.

how i am with trays and bowls so
first i got this tray that i just almost
dropped
from target and this is
studio mcgee it's this really pretty
looks very blue in the camera but it's
like
it's it's a bluish gray but it's
definitely more gray in person but it is
like
heavy duty heavy weight really really
pretty and i love that it's oval and not
square because
when it's on like a square coffee table
and you've got like square books
i think this adds just like another
shape so it adds
um just some interest on the coffee
table or
anything else that it's on if it's not
round anytime i see like a circle tray
oval tray i might always try to get them
because everything
else is square usually a rectangle so
the other bowl tray that i got is this
one
i love this one i feel like this looks
almost
like it was handmade and you found it on
etsy and it's like 100 years old
so i love love love this and this is
also very heavy as well
and this is also a studio mcgee
as well and it's probably one of my
favorite ones
next we have whoa this is not near as
heavy as those other ones and i
just almost threw it over my head
because i wasn't expecting it to be
so lightweight this is hearth in hand um
by chip and joanna and this is just
a regular um
bowl bowl tray keep my candle so i this
is pretty big i put this on my island
and i put my candles in it i love that
it's black i love black home accessories
and this also comes in white as well so
if you
you know have too many black or don't
have a use for it then
get the white next in the home oh i also
forgot to mention
this t-shirt is also misguided as well i
just wanted to wear it for the talk
through
but it's got these it's got like piping
detail on the front so
i love this just like an interesting
layering basic teeth
coffee cup so i got these from
west elm and i love these because i feel
like these also look
homemade and each one of them are
different i got a set of eight
and they all look different so they all
don't have like the same
um kind of like design to them almost
look like
if you guys have ever seen like kingdom
or those shows where you know it's set
like in the bc era and they have their
like wooden
cups that they may just kind of reminds
me of got these
from target and i also love the interest
of these they've got you know they're
not like perfectly.

shaped and i got the black and the cream
as well this is pretty like
grayish cream in person it looks pretty
white in the camera ryan can do his
um the alto dolce xl
um if you need like a giant cup of
coffee this is it
without having those like super tall
giant ones
um crowding your cabinets i love these
because they're like a little bit wider
at the bottom so they fit a lot
next in the home department i bought
five candles from
the coop their candles are so great and
i think they just did
a redesign for packaging
but they look so nice that they come in
these matte
jars they're just really pretty and
they're
so strong like a light one in here
and the whole this whole room like
kitchen family room
everything smells good versus my other
candles you light it in the kitchen and
you come in here and you kind of lose
the scent
these go far so they're very strong so i
actually
purposely don't wouldn't like that these
in like my bathroom unless i was keeping
the door open because it's like
whoa which is never a bad thing it's
always a good thing
lastly in the beaut beauty home
department
i got a pura and
so many people i showed it on instagram
and so many people were like
can you give an honest review because i
see so many sponsored
posts with pura and like i just want you
know like what do you think about it so
i got the pura and i
wasn't super impressed with it
but i also put it in an area
that i just don't think it would do well
so i think the pura would do really well
in a bathroom or a bedroom
but i put it in my entryway when you and
you walk in the front door
and you can't smell it unless you walk
like take a left and then walk right
beside it and then you don't smell it
anymore
so it only sense like
i'd probably say like a 10 foot
radius maybe less than that
and i didn't have two going at once i
just had one
of the volcanoes going at once i don't
even know if you can do
like have two suns going at once so
maybe that was the problem
and i also had a turn i didn't have it
turned up to ten
i just had it turned up to like six and
i still didn't feel like it lasted very
long
um i i had it at six
i would turn it off at night and then i
would turn it on and just keep it on
from in the morning to right before we
would start making dinner
and i still it i feel like it only
lasted like
a couple of weeks so i don't know
i have mixed feelings about it i think
for the price because it's pretty pricey
um like it would cost a lot to
have them all over my house and then you
have to buy the refills every like
couple of weeks so i don't know
i'm still in the process of finding
other home scent
products but i definitely wouldn't rule
out the pura if i needed it for a
smaller
room that maybe didn't have like really
really high ceilings so
that's my two cents and i got this
jacuzz
little tiny bag you guys like
i am such a sucker for these little bags
that.

absolutely nothing fits them except for
your card uh so obviously
it's kind of different from the cool guy
when i got
last in the last video this one just
fits my cards this
obviously doesn't fit my phone but i
just love it so much i think the color
is so good and then i love this little
wood detail on
the strap this really is
like an accessory to your outfit versus
a functional
bag unless you just need your cards with
you and you're planning on just carrying
your phone and putting it in your pocket
which is what i normally use it for so
next i have a few beauty
things and the first one is the ilia
mascara i just repurchase this this is
my
all-time favorite mascara sorry to the
tarte
mascara gotcha beat with this one i just
it's perfect i don't know how i'll ever
use another mascara i'm sure i will at
some
point but right now that is the ryder
bag
yep then i got two new scents
i got two diptique
scents i got the
[Laughter]
probably gonna get that out and the
uh i don't know i can't
embarrass myself i'm not gonna say it
this one
this one i have in the
body mist like i mix it with unscented
body lotion
and it smells so good it's
it's a very masculine i would say it's
definitely like a unisex
scent it's rich and deep and um
it's just so good i i love this set and
then this one
this one is a little bit more on the
sweet side
so it's got i can definitely i forgot
what the notes are but
i definitely get like fig like it's very
green it's got like a really green scent
but then after it sits on my skin
for about 30 minutes it turns to fake
and i
love love love fig i think it's like the
perfect sweet without being like
perfumey or candy ish like
this is it's a very like grown up
i'm just gonna shut up and spray
anyways i recommend them both got the
tan luxe
the face drops and um in the summertime
i stay pretty tan just from naturally
being outside when i'm like watering
because i water my flowers every day and
we've been doing a lot of yard work on
the weekend so i've got like a pretty
consistent tan going but
i wear a hat it's just to keep the sun
out of my face at all costs so
i've been putting this on every two
nights with my moisturizer
sometimes i'll put it on with my morning
moisturizer if i forget so you can do
either but
really good and i think it it gives a
good color without being
um orange or like fake tan looking so
yeah that's not for you okay
oh you don't like that smell i don't
like that smell
it's too strong all right we're gonna go

love this i'm a huge fan of pauline and
i hope i'm saying that right i know it's

french brand so i'm sure there's some
sort of i'm not saying it right i'm
totally americanizing it and i apologize
if i am but
i love this color um obviously the
camera is like washing it out like crazy
but it is the most
beautiful like stone color gray and
i just love the shape it's like it's
like a a big bag without being
a big oversized bag because you know you
know i don't like
big purses like big big bags so i think
this is such a great size
and i just love the shape i think it's
so fun it comes with the long strap too
so i will i will link that below as well
and we're gonna go because we have to
